The Minister for Mineral Resources, inaugurates the gas pipeline from Pande to Temane (29.05.09)
On 29 May 2009, the Minister for Mineral Resources, Dr. Esperança Bias inaugurated in Temane, Inhambane Province, the pipeline carrying the gas from Pande to the processing plant in this locality.
With the inauguration the Pande Field will supply the processing plant with a greater volume of gas as foreseen in the Project Development Plan.
Besides the Minister, the ceremony was attended by the members of the consortium operating the Pande and Temane Natural Gas Project namely SPT, CMH and IFC.
During their tour of Temane some of the social projects implemented by the Operators (SASOL) in the vicinity of the Processing Plant, such as the Mangungumeta School, were visited.
