First General Meeting after Going Public
The first General Assembly of Companhia Moçambicana de Hidrocarbonetos was held on 11 December 2008, at the Joaquim Chissano Conference Centre with the participation of the new stockholders from the private sector who had joined the society through the acquisition of 10% of its joint stock during the Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Of the 1305 new shareholders only 46 attended the meeting. During the meeting the Assembly deliberated and voted on the Report of the Board of Directors, and the accounts for the 2008 financial year (ending on 30 June) as well as on the distribution of dividends relative to the same financial year.
