1.How does one obtain a title for subscribed shares?

CMH shares are not materialized by a physical title deed i.e., CMH does nor issue titles representative of such shares.

2.When are dividends paid out?

The distribution of dividends is approved at the General Meeting following the close of the financial year, in conformity with the CMH policy for such distribution. In accordance with the said policy the payment of dividends must take place within six months of its approval.

3. When are the General Meetings held?

The Ordinary General Meetings are held three months after the close of the accounts for that particular Financial Year on 30 June of each year.

4. How does one acquire new shares or transfer the shares one holds?

At the present moment shares from Block “C” are quoted at the Mozambique Stock Exchange (BVM) and those interested in acquiring or transferring them should contact their financial agents so that they can inform the Exchange of their intentions. For further information consult BVM at www.bvm.co.mz .

5. Is CMH a public or a private company?

CMH is a private company constituted by agreement of the participating stockholders i.e. by a contract of partnership governed by the regulations of the Commercial Code, its Articles of Constitution and the relevant commercial legislation.

6. Why is all the natural gas exported to South Africa and Mozambique has to import gas for its own use?

There are two complementary answers to this question:

The first is that, in order for the NGP of Pande and Temane to be viable, it was necessary, at the outset, to find an interested party with the capacity to buy the totality of the gas produced.
